He saw my brokenness. I asked His forgiveness. I sought His Holiness. I prayed and received Him as my LORD and Savior. I come to the table and know that Jesus is with me.

Dear God, how grateful I am for the gifts of simplicity, for a child’s delightful and unconditional love. Thank You for the gifts of joy and kindness, of tenderness and peace, of love and of faithfulness. Thank You for the innocence of a childlike mind, their precious smiles and words of love. Oh, Father, I am so very thankful. With little ability to physically play like a child these days, I can be around them, enjoying their love and cute thoughts and watch them learn. I can see those lightbulbs go when they realize that they just read a whole sentence by themselves. As one mother wrote to me in a sweet Thanksgiving card, they “keep your heart warm and youthful as you teach” … for which I sing praises, Father. Yes, they do. In the Name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
